Welcome to Excursions by Garth.
From 2004 to 2012, I lived full time in a 40 foot motorhome (a 2005 Newmar Dutch Star) and have travelled extensively throughout the US. For a full writeup about how we got started on this adventure and some of our early trips see Garth’s Travels.
I created this website in 2010 to make adding new photos simpler, and to try out WordPress.
Since 2011, I have been very busy with my software development business, so we have done less traveling and I have not been able to keep up with my writings about our trips. In Oct 2021, I got married again and moved into a new house in Independence, Oregon. I no longer have the motorhome, and we only get out to see the world about once a month. But I do have many photos of trips I want to post, and more to come in the future.
I am also working on a new VideosByGarth.com website, which will feature some of the videos I have created. Let me know if you have photos or videos you would like me to edit into a more finished movie, to share with friends and family.
