First Sportron Order

9/27/04 - Sportron Promotion
Promoting my Sportron business was the highest priority today. I set up several new autoresponders, one each for the Sportrim Weight loss program, the Diabetic Pack, the Radiance Skin Rejuvenator, and the home business opportunity. I then composed an e-mail about the various Sportron products, to send to my various lists of people who have downloaded software from me over the years.

I did hesitate to cross the software/health product boundary, but I explained in the e-mail that I felt this was worth bring to their attention, that it was a one time mailing, and kept it relatively short. I included links to my autoresponders and web sites so they could get more information if they want it.

Angel and Adonis

9/28/04 - The End Of Chihuahua Breeding
This morning my wife took our little female Chihuahua, Angel, to the vet to get spayed. She is just coming in to heat which has our male Chihuahua all hot and bothered already. Adonis (our male) is going to have a hard time adjusting to being separated from his mate for the day.

Today I spent most of the day working on the video I started yesterday. It's coming together pretty well I think. I worked on adding music to it tonight.

This afternoon Angel came home. Everything went fine, but she will need to stay separated from the male for up to a week. This will be a challenge for all of us, especially the poor horny Adonis.

The big news is that we sold A La Mode (one of Angel's puppies) today. A woman and her three year old son came to look at the puppies today and spent an hour or so choosing among them. A la mode is the most friendly and outgoing, so he seemed a good fit to be matched with a younger couple and their child. He'll go home to meet Daddy tonight.

9/29/04 - A Sportron Order
A la mode came back to us this morning but only for a few weeks while his new owner flies back to Greece for a visit with her family. Apparently her husband approved of the friendly little guy. I'm not sure if he's going to Greece with her or not. We think A La Mode will have a great home when they get back.

I got my first Sportron order today. Someone from British Columbia ordered three months of the Diabetic Pack. Not a bad start I guess. I'll have to call them to find out if they just found my web page (which has been getting dozens of hits a day) or if they got my e-mail.

I also talked to my sponsor today. We'll be having our regular team meeting this Saturday and she wants me to talk about some of the technical aspects of working the business, such as e-mail, phones, setting up web sites, etc.

Note: A couple of weeks later, after this meeting, the reversal of the first order, no other sales, and little time to attend to this new business, I decided to return all my materials and cease promoting Sportron. I really felt I was spreading myself too thin with this additional business.

Tonight we went to McMinnville and did some shopping at Staples. I bought several things to help me get organized in my new Sportron business. Then we had dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Turned out to be one of our least favorite experiences there though.

This morning I showed the video I had created last night to my wife. We both thought it needed to be slowed down considerably. Since it ran less than fifteen minutes, I agreed that about half an hour would be better anyway. When we got home we watched some TV and I worked on my cousin's wedding video some more. It's impossible to compare this work with Music videos who may have several different images each second. I'll be going for something like five to ten seconds for each image in the remake.
