OK, confession time. It has been about a year since I worked on this journal. I've been busy taking photos, updating my software and living life. There have been a few times that I have written about a days events, but basically I have the photos I've taken and my calendar to jog my memory about the events of the past year.

9/26/05 - Beautiful Sunsets
On Monday, Sept. 26th we were in Carlton and witnessed this fantastic sunset. For some reason we have consistently experienced beautiful sunsets here.

Wednesday we drove the coach up to Olinger's RV in Hillsboro and had them replace a minor part for our leveling system. Then we drove out to the coast and spent the night at a rest stop. Here is another beautiful sunset photo from that night.

9/29/05 - Back to the Coast
The next day we drove down to the Chinook RV Park in Waldport where we will stay for the next couple of weeks while Dayadevi takes a couple more classes from her favorite Russian painting teacher Larisa.

On Friday I released new versions of Small Business Tracker Deluxe, Inventory Tracker Plus and Activity & Expense Tracker while Dayadevi started her painting class.

For the next few days I worked on this website, going through the photos from the summer trip and catching up on that part of Garth's Travels.

On Saturday I decided I really needed a better pair of glasses so I could see the photos a bit more clearly. So we went to Lenscrafters and I picked out some reading glasses and also got some prescription sun glasses for driving.

I also spent some time taking photos of the beautiful Oregon coast. Here are some photos of the Alsea Bay and River in the fog, at both low and high tide. Then I drove a few miles up the coast to Seal Rocks photo and took this photo.

Sunday night we went to dinner in Yachats with Larisa and some of her other students. Here's a photo of Larisa taking in the beautiful surf and sunset photo.

A couple of days later I drove back down to Yachats and took more photos of this beautiful section of coast photo.

There were lots of fishermen on the Alsea River this week. Here's a shot of an old dock on the river photo by the Chinook RV Park.

10/13/05 - Back to Central Oregon
Thursday we drove the coach back to Eugene and camped at the RV Corral for a few days while they made some more repairs.

Saturday, Oct 15th we happened to be downtown and I took some photos at the Farmer's Market. Today was also the one year anniversary of owning our new motorhome.

Monday we took a day trip over to Bend to see a friend of Dayadevi's. We travelled over Santiam Pass and saw some interesting lava flows. We also got to see the Three Sisters from this northerly perspective photo.

10/18/05 - Back to the Rogue and Crater Lake
The next day we moved the coach down to our favorite spot on the Rogue River. Here are some black tailed deer photo that strolled by our coach one afternoon.

On Friday, Oct 21st we drove to Crater Lake via the South entrance which we had never done before. We saw some beautiful fall colors photo and the beautiful deep Crater Lake photo of course.

Saturday we drove down to Medford to do some shopping and discovered this cool old farm house photo.

Monday night we celebrated the completion of another wonderful week on the Rogue River photo by soaking in the hot tub at the motel across the street. Here is a photo of the river from inside our coach photo.
